1. What a cosmetic skin is

A skin changes the appearance of something in the game. It is purely cosmetic and does not change gameplay, stats, difficulty, or balance in any way. Buying a skin has no effect on your chances of winning.

2. A licence, not ownership

When you buy a skin you receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use it within Gem TD. You do not own the underlying art or code, and:

3. Delivery and entitlement

Because Gem TD has no accounts, an entitlement to a skin is linked to your purchase record and to the browser where your game data is stored. Clearing your browser storage or switching devices may mean a skin is not automatically present; if that happens, contact [email protected] with your order reference and I will help restore access where I reasonably can.

4. Payments, pricing, and taxes

Payments are processed by Stripe, my payment provider. I am the seller of record. Stripe handles the secure checkout and card processing, and your payment details are provided to it directly under its own terms and privacy policy — I do not store your card details. Prices are shown at checkout. Any VAT or sales tax that applies is my responsibility as the seller and will be shown or added at checkout where required for your location. I may change prices or the available skins at any time; changes are not retroactive to purchases you have already made.

5. Changes and discontinuation

As a living hobby project, Gem TD may change over time. Individual skins or features may be adjusted, replaced, or retired. I will try to avoid removing something you have paid for, but where a change is necessary I will act reasonably and in line with the refund policy and applicable consumer law.

6. Eligibility

You must be of the age of majority where you live to make a purchase, or have the permission of a parent or guardian who accepts these terms on your behalf.
